Tungsten Steel Guide Rod Assembly
for GLOCK® Gen3
Fits 20/20SF/21/21SF
Description

The Lone Wolf Distributors tungsten guide rod assembly is a complete drop-in unit. A solid one-piece tungsten guide rod is precision CNC-machined to accept a removable 3/32 Allen head tip for spring changes. This innovative design makes the LWD guide rod assembly the most durable and long-lasting system available anywhere.

Lone Wolf tungsten guide rods provide a decisive advantage for all Glock® owners by providing a 100% weight increase at the front of the Glock® 17 Gen3 pistol versus a stainless steel guide rod assembly (0.544 oz vs. 1.088 oz). This extra weight helps reduce muzzle rise, allowing for quicker follow-up shots. The rigid tungsten body improves lock-up by removing the “guide rod flex.”

Experienced shooters know plastic guide rods can chip, crack, or break resulting in feeding or ejection failures. Guide rod flex can also contribute to accuracy problems. The LWD tungsten guide rod assembly addresses all these issues and provides its owner with a lifetime of reliable service.

Don’t settle for less in your firearm. Choose a solution that will give you the highest performance, unmatched durability, and unsurpassed reliability.

Stainless Steel Guide Rod Assemblies

Special features include:

  • Complete drop-in unit for Gen 1-3 Glocks
  • Solid, one-piece stainless steel guide rod
  • Precision CNC machined to accept a removable 3/32 Allen head tip
  • Models 17/22 and 20/21 feature LWD’s own 17lb flat wound recoil spring
  • Models 19/23 use a LWD 18lb flat wound recoil spring
  • These combined features make the Lone Wolf Guide Rod Assembly the most durable, longest-lasting system available today
  • We recommend spring changes every 3,000 rounds for 40/10/357 and every 5,000 rounds for 9/45
  • If you experience the spring slipping over the endcap screw flip the spring around and reinstall, most springs have a slightly tapered end that is best on the endcap side.
